We've even listed the phone numbers and email addresses for your reunion committee if you have any questions...all you need to do is GET SIGNED UP! We're planning on a great reunion weekend and hope to see you all there!

Your LPHS Class of '60 Reunion Committee

Past Information...

Here's the latest update and reminder for the 50 Year Reunion for La Puente High School, Class of '60.

The dates are Friday through Sunday, October 1-3, 2010.

Our event will take place at The Lodge at California Polytechnic State University in Pomona ...the same location as our 45th Class Reunion in 2005.

More information will be coming after the reunion committee meets later this spring but knowing how busy everyone has become (grand children and great children activities, AARP events and doctor's visits!) we wanted everyone to make sure they got the reunion dates on their crowded calendar.

Cal Poly has set aside a block of 50 rooms at The Lodge for everyone attending our reunion...classmates and guests. We have been assured that early reservations will get a room at Cal Poly, later reservations may be accommodated at nearby facilities.

The class is guaranteed a rate of $79.00 per night plus tax (or $49.50 if you're sharing a room with a non-spouse classmate). This rate is lower than originally negotiated and slightly less than we paid at our last reunion. (This will also be your rate for days both before and after the event should you want to come early or stay later to visit friends and family in the area.)

Here's the information to make your reservations. They'll ask for a credit card guarantee but will not charge your card unless you're a no-show the first night of your reservation.

* Kellogg West Conference Center & Lodge Cal Poly University-Pomona
* 3801 West Temple Avenue, Bldg. 76
* Pomona , California 91768
* United States
* Main Voice: 909.869.2222
* Fax: 909.869.3026
* E-mail: kwest@csupomona.edu

As we near the 50th anniversary of our graduation from LaPHS, we are still searching for many of our missing classmates so...PLEASE...if you are in touch with any of your friends from the past who are not on this e-mail list or if you're in contact with their brothers, sisters, friends, old neighbors or other relatives, send us their e-mail address or forward them this e-mail and ask them to contact this e-mail address or any member of the reunion committee listed below. Please don't assume we have someone's contact information...send it to them again to be sure.

If you are aware of any of our classmates who are no longer with us, we would like to have that information as well.

To help us find some of our missing friends, we also have LaPHS reunion information on Classmates.com as well as Facebook.com.

Due to the retirement and relocation of so many of our classmates, we probably will not be doing a USPS mailing...we will only be communicating by email...so it's important that we hear from you. We want our 50 Year Reunion to be our best ever so let's not leave anyone out who might like to attend.

And finally, your reunion committee is wide open to any new ideas and suggestions that will make our 50th Reunion our best get-together ever...please help us by sharing your ideas, your contacts and your time.

Wishing all of you good health.
