TERRI TOLLE Winkleman

ladonna and jimterritollteri

Terri first married at the age of twenty. She married her current husband, Evan (pictured above taken at the 25th Reunion), November 14, 1981. They have a daughter, Dannielle, 44, who blessed them with three beautiful granddaughters: Madeline (Maddie) 22; Lauren, almost 21, and 16-year-old Alexandra (Allie) Reints as well as their step grandson, Daniel Shimmin, now serving in Iraq.

Evan retired about a year ago and spends much time playing golf, Terri is trying to get used to his being retired!  Terri worked as an insurance underwriter for the Knott family for 12 years and has been in several other fields before deciding to open her own business. She currently leases a space in the Mission Galleria Antique and Gift Mall (3700 Main Street, Riverside, CA) where she has opened a shop selling one-of-a-kind, hand-made hats and jewelry, and accessories, as well as her hand-painted items and commission work.  Armed with a background in art, Terri loves to paint and does hand painting on any surface available! Signs, porcelain, furniture! Anything that will  hold paint!

Terri was very active in high school.  If forced to single out one highlight, it would be her involvement with AFS (the foreign exchange student program), particularly running for ASF Queen with her good friends, Sandy Baker Kutz, and Gabby Bernhardt Monzingo.  (Remember? Terri and Sandy were both Princesses to Queen Gabby!)

Like many of us, Terri has dealt on and off with health issues, and was profoundly impacted by the death of her two younger sisters within the space of a year, followed by five additional relatives in a short period. Terri credits the Class of 62 Reunion Committee with enabling her to reconnect and renew close ties with old friends! Her many hobbies include decorating, sewing, altered art, crocheting, and especially her paintings. Also included is gardening, when she gets the opportunity! (Pink roses are her favorites.) DIANE (ALLEN) and DANNY ARCHULETA

Classmates Diane (Allen) Archuleta and Dan Archuleta have been married 45+ years and have five children, “four boys and a girl names Jo,” as Diane puts it!  All five of them are married and have produced 12 grandchildren, plus one that is on the way!

Diane loves her current position as a TA for the Corona-Norco Unified School District because she has lots of leeway for teaching art to children, which she has been doing for 20 years.  Both very active in playing and coaching soccer.

In her 1½ years at LPHS, Diane had starring roles in Showboat and Bells are Ringing (both musicals), and a supporting role in Lute Song.  She continued with acting after graduation and attended a summer session at UCLA in a class with Richard Dreyfus.   Under college student directors, the class performed several plays that were reviewed by professional critics.  The only (Academy?) award given went to Diane! Diane left acting for a permanent role as Mother (aka Soccer Mom!)

Danny, left a partnership in lighting manufacturing to start a family business installing acoustic ceilings, which kept them busy, gladly taking the smaller jobs the big companies didn’t want such as for Jack in the Box, Burger King, the Olive Garden, and others.

Danny enjoys his hobby of 10-15 years—raising game birds (e.g. exotic pheasants and quails) from eggs, mostly hatched in an incubator.  He has played soccer for 25 years, first in the over-30 group, and now in the over-60 group!  Playing soccer, he was able to travel all over the world and meet many interesting people.   Both Danny and Diane played soccer, first traveling long distances to find other soccer players, then starting a league in their area.  Of course, both coached soccer teams!
